Balapan Formula 1 2020 kembali digelar usai tertunda beberapa waktu karena pandemi covid-19. Dimulai dari GP Austria pada Ahad, 5 Juli pukul 2020 19.00 WIB di Sirkuit: Red Bull Ring
Pagelaran Formula 1 2020 kabarnya pihak operator Formula 1 (F1) membuka opsi menggelar balapan tanpa penonton. Ini dilakukan untuk melaksanakan prosedur pada saat pandemi virus corona.
Sementara itu Managing director F1 Ross Brawn, balapan tanpa penonton memungkinkan apabila virus corona sudah mereda. Namun, pihaknya masih belum tahu apakah mutlak bisa menerapkan rencana itu.
Perubahan ini sudah mendapat persetujuan dari Federasi Otomotif Internasional (FIA). Formula 1 2020 dibuka dengan dua balapan di Red Bull Ring, Spielberg, pada 5 dan 12 Juli.
Jadwal 8 Seri Balapan Formula 1 2020 :
- 3-5 Juli: Spielberg, Austria
- 10-12 Juli: Spielberg, Austria
- 17-19 Juli: Budapest, Hungaria
- 31 Juli-2 Agustus: Silverstone, Inggris
- 7-9 Agustus: Silverstone, Inggris
- 14-16 Agustus: Barcelona, Spanyol
- 28-30 Agustus: Spa-Francorchamps, Belgia
- 4-6 September: Monza, Italia
